Regardless of which product is to blame, what work-arounds are there?
- Split the RAID into separate partitions for Windows and for Mac filesystems.
- Alternative RAID card e.g. by Promise Technology.
- Convert the filesystem itself between Windows and Mac formats, by using iPartition (which I already have).
[http://www.coriolis-systems.com/iPartition.php]:<<<… if you have a disk you partitioned for use with a Mac, and want toaccess it from a PC—or maybe you bought an external drivepre-formatted for use with a PC and now want to boot your Mac fromit—iPartition can convert the partition tables for you, keeping allyour data intact….N.B. At present, iPartition is not compatible with Drobo.\is there an alternative to MacDrive that will achieve the same objective?
